The most important rail line in Mongolia is the Trans-Mongolian Railway, which connects China, Mongolia and Russia. This rail line is starts from Ulan-Ude Railway Station of the Siberian Railway and runs through Mongolia’s important economic and political centers including Sukhbaatar, Darkhan, Ulaanbaatar, Sainshand and Zamyn-Uud. It is connected with China at Erlian Railway Station and extend to Jining South Railway.
