Urumqi to Almaty Bus Tickets

It is very convenient to travel from Urumqi to Almaty by bus. The service operates daily, except during major Chinese national holidays such as the Spring Festival, Tomb-Sweeping Day, Labor Day, Dragon Boat Festival, and National Day.

• Departure station: Gaotie Lianyun Bus Station (高铁联运汽车站), Shayibake District, Urumqi (about 450 meters west of Urumqi Railway Station)
• Arrival station: Bus Station Sayran, 6VV5+F99, Utegen Batyr St, Almaty, Kazakhstan
• Duration: Approximately 24 hours (including a rest stop between 00:00 and 05:00)
• How to book tickets: Please send us the copies of your passports, and we will book tickets for you
• How to receive tickets: Copies of the tickets will be sent to you via email, WeChat, or WhatsApp once they are booked
• How to board the bus: Please present your passports and the ticket copies to the staff when boarding the bus

Good to Know

• Please book the tickets at least seven days before your departure date
• Please make sure you have all the necessary documents, such as a valid visa to enter Kazakhstan.
• It is recommended to arrive at the bus station at least two hours before departure, as you may need to check in your baggage.
• Bringing your own food is advised, as no meals are provided on the bus.

Baggage Allowance

• Each passenger is allowed 25 kilograms of baggage. If your luggage exceeds this limit, it must be checked in.
• The baggage consignment fee is CNY 4 per kilogram. Please weigh your baggage and make the payment at the bus station.
• Dangerous items, such as fireworks or animal remains, are strictly prohibited on the bus.

Cancellation Policy

• Free cancellation is available before the tickets are booked.
• Tickets can be canceled three days or more before the departure date. A 30% (USD 20)  cancellation fee will be charged, and the service fee is non-refundable.
• If passengers cancel the trip after departure on the bus to Almaty, no refund will be issued.

Price Include

• Ticket price USD 73 and service fee USD 13 per ticket.
• The ticket price is the same for adults and children.

We will send you a copy of the ticket, as shown below. You can board the train using this copy. If you would like us to deliver the physical ticket to your hotel in Urumqi, an additional fee of USD 30 will be charged.
