Scenery along the Road
Naning to Pingxiang - The bus journey begins on the G7211 Expressway. As the cityscape of Nanning fades into the distance, passengers are greeted by the peaceful charm of the countryside. Guangxi’s farmland stretches along the route, with rice paddies and sugarcane fields dominating the landscape. Scattered among the fields are traditional village houses with white walls and black-tiled roofs, adding to the scenic beauty of the rural surroundings.
Pingxiang to Friendship Gate - As the bus approaches Pingxiang, the landscape becomes increasingly hilly, with slopes covered in dense groves of pine and eucalyptus trees. This scenic stretch signals your arrival at the border area. One of the key landmarks here is the Friendship Gate, a vital gateway for trade between China and Vietnam. The gate's impressive towers stand as a symbol of the strong ties between the two nations and provide a great photo opportunity for travelers.
Friendship Gate to Lang Son - After passing through the Friendship Gate, passengers officially enter Vietnam. The scenery begins to shift, with an increasing presence of tropical plants such as palm trees and hardy banana trees lining the route. The architectural style also changes noticeably—Vietnamese houses differ significantly from those in China, with one of the most striking features being their steeply pitched roofs, designed to handle the region's heavy rainfall.
Lang Son to Hanoi - Admire the village views and some ancient temples and towers.
