Da Nang Train Station

Da Nang is a port city in central Vietnam. It is the fourth largest city in the country, after Ho Chi Minh, Hanoi and Haiphong.

Located in the city center, Da Nang Railway Station is an important station on North–South Railway, as well as the largest train station in central Vietnam. Trains to Hanoi and Hue depart from this station every day. It takes around 14 hours from Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City to Da Nang.

Da Nang Railway Station was opened in 1902. After several renovations, it is now a comprehensive station with complete facilities and multiple functions. An international ticket window is available in the ticket office. The waiting area is well-maintained with ATM machines, restrooms, and Wi-Fi.

Taxi

Taxi is probably the most comfortable and convenient way to get around Da Nang. The starting price for a taxi is 10,000-14,000 VND. The price varies according to the company. Watch out for unlicensed taxies. Always choose a reliable taxi company to avoid taxi scam.

There are three main taxi companies in Da Nang: Vinasun (white), Tien Sa (yellow) and Mai Linh (green). The most popular and reliable is Mai Linh. You can reserve a Mai Linh taxi by calling the company’s telephone number 0511 3565656.

Bus

There are several buses serving the city and connecting it with suburbs and surrounding towns. Ticket prices start from 20,000 VND.

There is a bus route running between Da Nang Railway Station and Hoi An. It is difficult, however, for a first-time visitor to take a bus in Vietnam, since no English is spoken on the buses, and only Vietnamese is shown on the bus boards.

Cyclo and Motorbike

Cyclo and motorbike are probably the most effective and flexible way of getting around Da Nang. And they would provide an exciting experience in exploring the city.
