Hue Train Station

When you travel to Vietnam, you can’t miss the city of Hue. Located in the middle of the country, Hue is the capital of Thua Thien-Hue Province. For three dynasties in Vietnam, it used to be the imperial capital, so it is of much historical interest.

Hue is well connected to Vietnam’s other cities by air, bus and rail. It can be reached by train directly from Hanoi. The railway line between Hue and Da Nang is known as “one of the most beautiful railways in the world”.

Located on the south bank of the Ben Ngu River, Hue Railway Station was built by French colonists in 1906. Its French-style architecture has made it a historical site and it is now considered one of the most beautiful stations in Vietnam.

Transportation to Hue Railway Station

It is easy to get to other parts of the city from Hue Railway Station. Lots of taxis, motorbikes and cyclos wait outside the station exit.

If you’d like to move comfortably and easily, taxi is your best bet. Reliable taxi companies charge fairly, according to the meter. If you want to experience a different and more local way of traveling, you can try a motorbike or cyclo. The fares are cheaper than for taxis.

Due to potential language problems, we do not recommend buses to first-time foreign travelers.
